April 7, 2005 – GPRO Technologies Bhd has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Vietnam Textile and Apparel Association (VITAS) to set up a training institute in Hanoi, Vietnam.

It said on April 7 the MOU was to provide appropriate education and training to VITAS members and personnel working in the textile and apparel industry. They will later form a joint-venture company.

GPRO would provide courses including skills development, technology, management and marketing, professional diploma and degree courses and online courses.

The institute will acquire a piece of land and a new building there.
