GPRO has been securing deals with the various subsidies of Hong Kong based Golden Win Group, amongst them Trinunggal Komara and . Till date, GPRO has starting implementing in three of Golden Win's sites. The total signed terminals are 2320 terminals, and is spread between Indonesia, China and Macau. |

GPRO has begun to install and run its latest RFID-enabled terminals in Bogart Lingerie, a fast growing international lingerie manufacturer. Some of the technologies used are our latest Digital Display Screen and Touch Screen kiosk, that assist Production Line Managers in tracking line performance. |

(May, 30) As part of its move to maximize resource utilization, GPRO has implemented a performance-based measurement system to provide incentives for staff in fulfilling their Critical Operating Tasks (COT). This will enable staff to be rewarded based on their performance and be given any additional recognition. |

The GPRO HR department has implemented a Continuing Profession Education course for staff in the company. GPRO believes in building people through education and continuous learning. The CPE course allows staff to accumulate points and obtain certification once enough points have been earned. |

After applying for a tender for Sri Lanka's technological needs for its industry, GPRO was asked to present its solutions to the Joint Apparel Association Forum (JAAF), Sri Lanka's main body representing the Textile and Apparel interests of the island. GPRO is looking forward to further cooperation with the government body to implement its standardized solutions and technologies to help the island increase its production productivity, efficiency and quality. |

GPRO Technologies Bhd has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Vietnam Textile and Apparel Association (VITAS) to set up a training institute in Hanoi, Vietnam. It said on April 7 the MOU was to provide appropriate education and training to VITAS members and personnel working in the textile and apparel industry. They will later form a joint-venture company. GPRO would provide courses including skills development, technology, management and marketing, professional diploma and degree courses and online courses. The institute will acquire a piece of land and a new building there. |

Vietnam's VINATEX (Vietnam Textile and Apparel Corporation), a corporation made up of state-owned companies, organized a seminar in Ho Chi Minh to highlight the importance of IT in improving performance and productivity for the Textile and Apparel industry. GPRO was acknowledged as the official technology partner of Vietnam and manufacturers were encouraged to implement its systems for greater effectiveness in their production. The event was co-organized by Nhabe Garment Company, a well-known manufacturer, and GPRO Technologies. |

(March, 19) GPRO has successfully signed a contract to implement its systems in Suzhou-based garment manufacturer, known as the Jiangsu Dongdu Garment Company. It is ranked among the top ten for efficient management. GPRO is positive on this company allowing it to make further inroads into the vast untapped manufacturing market of China. |

GPRO goes on an aggressive recruitment drive to get in more staff to fulfill its human resource needs. Currently the staff strength stands at 170 persons, almost double that of the previous year. |

The GPRO Activities Team recently organized the ninth GPRO Annual Dinner. There were special performances from each division, and talent shows by individual staff. Also, long-service awards were given out to staff who had served the company faithfully. There was also a lucky draw, with people walking away with TVs, DVD players and other prizes, courtesy of our business partners and suppliers. |

A total of 22 Malaysian investors from various major institutional investing firms visited our operations in Vietnam. Executive Chairman Jordan Tang showed them around and brought them to two factories, Nhabe Garment Company and Protrade, which have been our long-time partner in this business. Various technologies were shown and updates of the business given. |
