Washable RFID Tags For Tracking Washing Processes

Laundry Management & Control

Our solution provides comprehensive management and tracking of linen movement across washing processes accurately and to avoid losses.

Comprehensive Management and Tracking

Today, textile identification and sorting in industrial laundry processes can be greatly enhanced through RFID technology. By attaching tiny transponders to garments, uniforms, linens, mats and mops, ownership of the items is always unambiguous. Textiles are easily identified as they pass by an antenna in any position, with amazing advantages for industrial laundries.

Laundry Management Control helps the users to simplify the laundry and stocking process by enable the users to track the data from each of the linen with inserted RFID laundry tag. Users able to track the real time data included the amount and the status of the laundry. Tracking laundry also significantly reduces costs and increase productivity associated with processing laundry, lost items and inventory management.

The scanned amount and weight will be shown in the software.

Users are able to generate various types of report with higher accuracy.

GPRO LMC Hardware Components

Transponder (RFID Chips)The GLT301-Sew UHF RFID ID is a durable and wash resistive RFID tag that has proven its ROI in many European laundries. These tags will be sewing on/ into each linen for tracking. These ISO 18000-6C compliant, UHF tags allow for high speed, bulk reading in industrial laundry applications at read distances of up to six meters (or 19 feet) without requiring a direct line of sight. These soft, flexible and thin tags can be applied quickly and easily in multiple ways -sewn, heat-sealed or pouched -according to your wash process needs.

GPRO Gantry – GPS101 DM offers breakthrough technology, allowing industrial launderers to scan entire carts as they move in and out of the laundry. Designed to meet the requirements for the harsh laundry environment, it offers unprecedented reading performance for soil scans. Light and modular, it is also easy to assemble. (* Scanning accuracy subject to environmental study). These High-performance RFID reading system for bulk scans of chipped items in laundry carts are recommended for soil-in applications.Highest accuracy rates for cart scans containing up to 400 items at regular walking pace.

GPRO Weighing Gantry – This is another innovation which combined with two features, allowing users to read and weighing the entire carts at the same time. Light and modular, it is also easy to assemble. (* Scanning accuracy subject to environmental study). These High-performance RFID reading system for bulk scansof chipped items in laundry carts and bulk weighing are recommended for soil-in applications.Highest accuracy rates for cart scans and weight containing up to 400 items and 3 tons at regular walking pace.

How it Works

The RFID technology works by electronically reading RFID tags attached to the fabric, allowing them to be automatically identified, counted and tracked. The system also facilitates sorting and validates pick-ups and deliveries at customer locations. An RFID Tag attached to fabric contains all the relevant information of the cloth like number of time washed, enter and exit time & date etc.

RFID reader mounted on the gates reads the data stored on the RFID tags as it enters electromagnetic waves of the antenna. The data is automatically transferred to the linked system for further processing.

Benefits of Laundry Tracking/ Management

  • Real time tracking of the laundry items from point of pick-up, through sorting, washing or dry-cleaning, packaging and distribution.
  • Reduced handling time at check in and check out on site and off site
  • Automatic identification of misplaced and stolen items.
  • Accurate data capture regarding item lifecycle, inventory control, reusable asset sterilization control as well as automatic billing to end users.

Laundry Management Users
